We went on vacation to Colorado last week and had a great time. We had two plans, one was for Rylee to stay with my Dad and Step Mom at their house while we were gone... the second, was for Grandpa and G-G to go with us to Colorado and watch Rylee for me while we were out riding the trails. I am happy to say that everyone went and I think we all had a great time. We went with Ryan's brother Randy, his wife Debi and their son Nicholas; Jesse and Julie Breedlove, Wade Schooley and my Dad and Step Mom. My Dad and Step Mom stayed at the house with Rylee while the rest of us went out on our 4 wheelers and dirt bikes to experience Colorado off road. We got to see some great scenery and on Thursday during our vacation; everyone went because we rented a jeep. (BV Jeep Rentals, made us a good deal and was great to rent from!)
We also went to Georgetown, Colorado and rode a steam engine train. It was both Rylee and my first train ride (besides the Pikes Peak Cog train last year). Rylee did really well even on Thursday when she was riding in the bumpy jeep down a very rocky and rough trail. I think the only thing that she got fussy about was mom applying sunscreen every time we stopped!
We have done quite a bit in the last week since we have been back from vacation. Mom put in a new car seat in the truck. It is a big girl car seat. We also discovered that she was too big for the infant tub so we have progressed to the big Ducky which is great! She is also squirming her way all over the living room. We have moved baby proofing the house to the top of the list. She sits so good and will even catch herself to keep herself from falling. She gets on to her stomach and will push, pull squirm her way across the floor. She does get her legs up underneath her and it really will not be long before I post that she is full fledged crawling! We may have to get a corral! But I love seeing her accomplish new things!
Here are some pictures from our vacation!
First experience with snow!
